'Crunchy, Watery, Mushy' was inspired by the bakeapple berry (called Cloud Berries in Scandinavian countries) that grace our bogs, especially in Labrador. These orange berries are also called 'yellow gold' as they are so expensive to buy. Berries picked from the low bakeapple plants before they are ripe taste 'crunchy, watery and even mushy', some consider them an acquired taste. Picking ripe berries from their plants though is a delicious, sweet and orange flavour explosion in the mouth!
