All of our unique, hand dyed colour ways hold traditional Newfoundland and Labrador colloquial sayings or words or locations. 'Pack Ice', also referred to as Slob Ice, comes into the harbours and bays of Newfoundland and Labrador in the Spring bringing with it seals and the occassional polar bear! It consists of thousands of small chunks (we call these 'pans') of thick, grey ice.

Lastly, we ask upon you you’re understanding that each colourway is overdyed by hand in small quantities so each dye lot may vary slightly. Floss and fabrics are dyed and packaged in smoke free, pet friendly spaces.
