Berry picking is an annual activity from August to late Fall in Newfoundland and Labrador. Making jam (before electricity and freezers) or freezing fresh berries for the winter is a time honoured tradition practised to this day.
Quite mottled with dark blue/purple on a coral background, this fabric would a beautiful background for your monochromatic stitching.
Hand dyed by Patty of Brin & Nedle here in Newfoundland and Labrador. The perfect, soft fabric for stitching in hand.
