This lovely opalescent green Aida is called 'Jannying in July'. 'Jannying' is another name for 'Mummering' and is a Christmas tradition here in Newfoundland and Labrador when people dress up to disguise themselves and go around to people's homes brining music and hilarity.
This fabric is a lovely shade that brings out the green opalescent sparkle in the fabric!
Hand dyed by Patty of Brin & Nedle here in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Notes:
- Opalescent fabric is expensive. If you'd prefer a smaller cut than listed, please reach out :)
