All of our unique, hand dyed colour ways hold traditional Newfoundland and Labrador colloquial sayings or words or locations. SOE stands for the 2020 State of Emergency on the Avalon Peninsula of Newfoundland where 72" of snow fell in one storm causing the city of St. John's to be shut down under a 'SOE' for two weeks!
