During Snowmageddon 2020, the Avalon Peninsula of the Island of Newfoundland called a State of Emergeny after over 72" of snow fell in one storm - Snowmageddon - forcing the City of St. John's to shut down for 2 weeks and the Canadian Forces being rallied to assist
